Bacterial isolation from a kitchen dish towel reveals the presence of Deinococcus radiodurans (Sage Robine)

For this study, we sampled a kitchen dish towel and isolated a salmon-pink colony that turned out to be  Deinococcus radiodurans: the most radiation resistant organism in the world!
